Question for the girls about the girls
I'm down a little more than 80 lbs and desperately need to buy some new bras. I'm a little perplexed because my breasts look different. I used to be more... um... full. Now that I am thinner I am more saggy but they have less fullness and fat so they don't stick out as far but they kind of hang down. I'm not sure how to measure because if I measure around the fullest part, even though they don't stick out to make the measurement higher they still hang. I typically buy my bras online so I don't have to bring my preschooler to the store with me. I'm having trouble determining cup size. Any ideas?
Also, what styles work best? I was probably a 48 C preop. I had mostly underwear but hated them. I was thinking about trying the genie bras because they look comfy. I would need a bra to minimize "show through." Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks again. I'm still trying to figure out this body of mine.....
Don't wear a Genie Bra. They make people look sloppy and saggy. I wear Victioria Secrets Bombshell Bras. They look so good that I have had people ask me if I had my boobs done (I have not YET).

Good to know... So the C cup in 42 C is not the same as the cup in a 36 C?
I got measured once at Lane Bryant and they had me in one that was HUGE. DD maybe? I could look down and see all of the empty space in the cup. I think its because of the sag.... Maybe its time to try again though with someone different.
Cup size is dependent on band size. So a C cup for a 42 is larger than a C cup for a 36.

Not sure how tall you are (looking at your weight in relation to mine). I am 5'9 and 185. I bought my first VS bra when I was 220. I wear a 38 C (I was a 46 B at Lane Bryant when I was a pre-op). I'm currently 185 and I probably need to get a smaller band size. I like the bombshell bras because you can't feel the underwires (I always felt like the LB bras were stabbing me).
