finally moved! DAMMN! I thought it'd never go down, but it has. I now weigh 210 lbs. 30 more pounds to goal and I'll be a happy camper. In fact, 11 more pounds and I'll be under 200 lbs. That hasn't happened since the late 70's. The 210 is what I weighed when I got married the first time, 9/26/81 on my wedding day.Haven't seen it since! This surgery is just freaking incredible! I was just looking at my closet, and all the blouses/tops/sweaters/jackets/suits/skirts/dresses/pants/jeans etc that I'm going to have to give away and or sell. Most of my clothes are in really good shape, b/c you always have your favorites that you wear over and over, those will be given to Goodwill. I've found a new site to purchase my in between sizes jeans/dress pants so that I don't have to invest a lot of money. Yay for DOTS!!! I love clothes and I came to the conclusion years and years ago that they're always overpriced, so unless they're not at least 25% off AND I really, really love it, it stays on the rack. But even so, I've still accumulated a ton of clothes, and I'm loathe to get rid of them. It'll take me years to get back to that level, but I'm finding more and more things that I bought but for some reason or another didn't wear it, so now I'm shopping for smaller clothes in my own closet. What fun!!!! I'm thinking about having some of my favorite clothes altered if they can be, if not, I'll sell them on consignment.My eating has calmed down, I'm getting used to knowing when I'm on my way to being full. I hate that "I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack" feeling which is when I've eaten too much! The bad news is I haven't eaten any food that my new tummy doesn't like/tolerate. I've read on this site about certain foods making ppl throw up, break out in a sweat, etc. Not for me, so I'll always have to take tiny steps when adding more carbs/sweets. I was hoping that my surgery/stomach wouldn't tolerate the fattening/sweet foods, no such luck. Oh well, such is my life. Still happy with my RNY though. Anyway, have a good week, TTYL
