Hi! My name is Anita, and I live in Cleveland, OHIO. I'm 57 years old, newly married for the 2nd time (3/08) with a 26 y/o daughter, a 37 y/o acquired daughter (who's 5 mos. pregnant, YEA!!!) and a 13 y/o acquired grandson. After viewing a video of a WLS I found a link/ad for this website and I'm elated b/c you folks have answered so many questions just by reading some of the forums/Q&A's. I've been on diets since I was 12 y/o, 5'9" and 147lbs. That was the infamous "Banana Diet". After that failure I didn't diet until I was 18 at 200lbs. Well I've "dieted" myself up to 275lbs as of today and enough is enough. I'm ready for this WLS to help me be a healthier me. My husband loves me for who I am, and is supportive of whatever I feel is right for me. Luckily his insurance will cover the surgery, it just takes about 8 mos which is frustrating b/c when you've mentally made the decision to do it, the waiting is awful. Anyway, I'm here to learn and make new friends. C'ya, and TTYL
