I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.**hugs**

October 13th Dear Rose: Greetings! Thank you so much for your post today! I'm almost two months post-op, because of not receiving very good nutritional education, I suffered two small intestinal blockages due to introducing solid foods much too soon after my surgery. Anyway, your advice was so welcomed and necessary. Thank you. Sincerely, Lori Ann

Hello Rose - I wanted to thank you for your recent post to the message board. I'm still in the Pre-Op stages. I hope to be having the surgery towards the end of next month. Ive printed your comments and put them in my "Post-Op" file. There is so much truth in what you had to say, I really enjoyed the honesty and no nonsense way you handled challenges that came your way. I think sometimes we get so wrapped up in the "here and now" that we forget it's just a temporary stepping stone in our new and wonderful journey. Ive sampled a few protein drinks myself and although Ive turned my nose up a time or two, I have the mindset that it's temporary until I can get to a point that I'm taking in proteins via foods that I can eat. Yep, that's a small sacrifice to make to get my health and my life back. Thanks again, hugs & aloha -
