2 years post op today . HAPPY REBIRTHDAY TO ME! I love this day and the new experiences that I have had with my new richer , fuller life since my surgery. It was the best thing I ever did. Good luck to all of you who are planning on having the surgery and to those of you riding the fence...GET A LIFE,A REAL LIFE! I love every day of mine. And I want to thank those of you who have written to me , your comments mean so much.

I got home from the Hospital this afternoon. I had a very positive experience . Everything went smoothly , of course surgery was rough and the next day was rather ugly but My doctors were wonderful and my care was fabulous.. confident and caring . The nursing staff at shadyside hospital could not have done more for me if they would have known me personally!! When I'm feeling stronger I will give everone a closer look at my travel to the "other side"!!

I just spoke with Rose's nurse. Her surgery went on without a hitch and she rested comfortably most of the day. It is now 10 pm and they are about to get her out of bed for her first little walk. Rose aka LilCricket
