I have turned a corner

April 27, 2009, Monday was the first day to be able to drive myself to physical therapy crutches, pain and all.  I still can't walk by myself however, I am encouraged pain and all.  I will continue to work on exercises.  I went to my PCP today, Would you believe that my blood pressure was 110/79.  I used to be 140 to 150 over 90.  My weight lost has really improved my health.  Now
it 's time to improve my leg.  Just think although I fell in the tub, the excess weight that I carried for so long, the injury that I received from a student kicking me, and an auto accident has taken it toll.  However, the surgery to repair my knee, I believe will be a success.  It was a tough surgery.  But the bariatric surgery was tough too.  This too shall pass.  I am 17 lbs. from goal.  My 2nd surgiverary will be June 20th.  I just can't believe it will be two years.  Yes, I am in a size 10 to 12 dress and size 12 slacks from a size 22-24.  Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
