Left Knee Surgery

Apr 04, 2009

I was trying to avoid surgery.  However, I fell in the bath tub and walk on the injury for a week and half.  I went to work and could not walk from my desk to the door.  Although I had gone to the doctor four days after the fall, I was misdiagnose.  I was told that I had a hemotoma.  But I had to drive myself to the emergency.  There they told me that I fractured my tibia.  I then went to the doctor the next day.  They did an mri I had torn cartiledge and rip two menesics with bone spurs.  Well, surgery here I come.  I had surgery March 26, 2009.  They did it out patient.  Today, I am struggling with pain.  I can't walk.  Two days ago my leg was so swollen, that physical therapy sent me to see if I had a blot clot.  No blood clot.  I believe that they should have taken extra precaution with me.  They did the surgery, I was in recovery, then they sent me home. I pray and hope that I do not gain any weight.  I am prednisone, ice machine, and I refuse to take narcotics.  I am taking toridol and Tylenol arthritis.  I am on a walker, and cruthes.  I was told that I would be out of work for four weeks.  I got a long way to go.  Now am told that it will take 6 to 10 weeks.
