My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. I e stuck to the Optifast plan. On Tuesday is will be 14 days.

i was ecstatic to weigh myself last week and see that I've lost 15 pounds.

But it's now a few days later and I swear the damn scale ha

Today will be day ten of Optifast. I'm 15 pounds lighter. The weight loss seems to be slowing a bit. The hunger has passed. 

Pis this normal?Will the hunger stay away after surgery?

I am on day seven of Optifast.

im allowed veggies. 

I actually been eating raw veggies this entire time.

tonight I craved a hot meal.

Just had the most amazing pep talk by a friend who had RNY a few months ago. 

I have to share.

The conversation went something like this.

Me: I'm hungry. I want food. I need to crunch something.

I almost gave in to my mind and convinced myself that it would be "okay" to eat off plan.

It's been the roughest day thus far. I am hungry. I'm sweating. It's been quite the day. 

I guess I am just venting.

Day Three Optifast. I am doing alright. Had a sugar low last night, but all is good. 

I am so curious about how quickly I can expect to lose weight? I want to buy some nice Spring clothes, but not sure.

Ideas? LOL
