I like to look at old posts on here and check out old topics sometimes and I came across one asking this question and I thought it was a great post for people to share their favorite food(s) in their post op life.

We all have had surgery (or are looking to) and are changing the way we eat and what we eat and I am so interested to hear what your new favorites are!

Happy Thursday!

Some of my favorites are: watermelon, cantaloupe, homemade veggie/chicken stir fry, yogurt with peanut butter and granola and crock pot chicken with veggies :) YUM

My favorite is fish or seafood of any kind which I used to hate. I also love Greek yogurt and peanut butter but if I eat them together I dump. Separately each is fine, but together it is bad news. I learn fast and only did it once at least!

Have you tried mixing in the PB2 powder peanut butter into the yogurt? It's to die for and 2 TBS is all you need with only 45 calories, 1.5g fat, 1g sugar and 5g protein. They have a chocolate flavor too. I get mine from Amazon.

My favorite is shrimp, salmon/fish.  I liked it before but now I can eat it everyday, much to my husband sorry (he will eat shrimp only and even then he likes it fried! I have fried nothing in nine months!! I have found there things that I do not like, lite mayo....can not stand the smell or taste, anything I used mayo in the past for now I used plain yogurt with lemon & dill. I have always hated bananas and now I will put them in homemade ice and smoothies, if my carb count is good for the day!  Use to love Splenda before my surgery, hate it now! I use the stevia liquid extract...so far, so good!

Dannon light and fit Greek yogurt....all flavors.  I would eat it 3 times a day if I could. My hubby says "you can't live on yogurt".  But it always goes down smoothly when other things don't.
