One Year Out!

I posted the long, short, beautiful and ugly of it all right here:

I am SO GLAD that the Lord is good!  He is faithful!  He's a healer!  He is merciful, and mighty!  Only He could have brought me through all this drama.

I'm also glad that people are inspired by my story.

The Bible says In Revelation 12:11:  "They overcame him because the Lamb gave his life's blood for them.  They overcame him by giving witness about Jesus to others. They were willing to risk their lives, even if it led to death." (NIrV)  Luke 21:13-14 in the New Century Version says "But this will give you an opportunity to tell about me.  Make up your minds not to worry ahead of time about what you will say."

I didn't set out to be an inspiration to anyone.  Frankly, I was very worried that I'd be flamed for not singing the sunshine-and-rainbows DS song.  But here it is, right in the Word.  People are inspired to keep on keeping on--in this case pressing for their surgeries, and recovering, and staying on course--when we tell the truth from our hearts.

I didn't consider much of what I'd say--I just wrote it out.  According to the word, that was the right thing to do.

I really spoke from my heart.  The Lord humbles me by sparing my life and healing my body.  If sharing what He's done for me will help anyone, then it IS working for my good!  I am totally blessed by blessing others in any way I can.

On to year two!  Glory to God!
