Out of the Hospital

I made it from boot camp liquids and my surgery. I'm home now with hardly any pain. I have really bad gas pain and if I move too much I have pain on my left side. I will say the first night was my worst night. The nurse wouldn't give me anything extra for pain and ignored me. The other nurses would give me what I need and I was okay. Being a nurse myself, I knew she was wrong in treating me like that. I had the dry heaves and nausea and she wouldn't give me any zofran or phenergan. The nurse that came on next hooked me up and I was fine. I stayed 3 days\ 2 nights.  I didn't feel up to talking or chatting, but two of my friends came and saw me while I was in the hospital.  I thought my mom was going to do a scene from the movie "Terms of Endearment" "give my daughter her shot"! But before she did that, the next nurse brought my phenergan on piggy back to my IV.   No more dry heaves. I'm probably rambling. Anywho, I wish everyone good luck with their surgeries.
