So the weight has been coming off so slow.  I follow the diet and walk/run 5 times a week...kinda hate looking at the scale.  I have noticed that my clothes are looser and I have had to add two new smaller holes to my favorite belt!  I need to take my measurements again to help me not feel so disapointed...also maybe keep in mind that although I have only lost about 2-3 pounds a week that is still better than EVER before!

I was so excited to be 269 pounds! I was in a looooong stall and I am so glad it finally broke!

So I have lost 18 pounds since surgery.  I lost it fast but now the past three days I have not lost anything.  I am upset and sad and frustrated with myself.  I hope I can stay off the scale and give myself some slack.  I know I am still doing great!  I have never lost 9 pounds a week before!  LOL but it is still hard to see the scale stop moving.  I wonder is this it??  Is this all I'm gunna loose?  Maybe I am gunna stay fat?

I got the call today.  Amerigroup called and APPROVED ME!!!!  I am over the moon happy.  Though I am not sure why I have not lost much weight on this liquid diet...

Ok so went in on Fri 9/7/12 and had what I HOPE is my final final Pre-Op with my surgen.  We set a Pre-op hospital visit 9/19 and a surgery date 9/25(WOOOHOOO) and even my first post-op visit for 10/05.  They took more blood and I am hoping had time to submit on Fri afternoon, if not they will do it this morning.  I was told to start my liquid diet, so I have not had solids in 2 days now...I am hungry!  LOL I had a meltdown last night but this morning my spirits are up again.  I am hopeful, I so want to hear that I have been aproved.  I know many have been through this, it gives me comfort to know I don't walk alone.  As I was getting ready to leave my Drs office her PA told me I am the first patient she has tried to submit to this insurance...that is some pressure!  I REALLY hope it goes OK....

Went in on Aug 13 and instead of loosing the 8 pounds my Dr requested I actually lost......14!!!!!!  OMG!  I was so proud!  So I started at 326 and got down to 302.  I was happy and it felt so good when the nurses and my Dr were proud too!  So we were set to get a surgery date but they noticed I had gone to Weight Watchers but had no proof (IE. receipts).  I also had to do some more blood work.  So I headed off to get the blood work and went in to the New Orleans WW Center.  I live near Baton Rouge but had to stay there for an appt a few hours later.  Well I got no where with WW.  It seems I was a member back when we used the paper sign in sheets in boxes (I'm sure some of you remember that, LOL) well now they are on a computer system and I was not in it.  I had to call the 800 number and wait a few days for them to send me an email saying that while they see I was a member between X-X dates they will have to research and look through boxes to find receipts.  I sent my Dr the email and hope it will work.  After returning home and thinking things would be submitted to insurance I found out my Thyroid levels were off.  I had to go back down on Friday the 7th.

I had finished all clearances ans received a surgery date with Dr.Bellows at Tulane.  Then I decided to move to his VERY AMAZING partner Dr.Noria!  I am thrilled with the decision.  Now I have to have two letters re-written in her format and a new referral from my PCP.  I met with Dr. Noria on Fri July 27th, and was told to come back on Aug 13th 8lb lighter and with the two letters from my PCP and we will set a date!  I was thrilled, scared, excited, determined.  So I went to my PCP on Tues July 31st and was told I would have the letters by that Fri the 3rd...no luck.  Now I am kinda worried.  I called three times on Fri and was told I would receive a return call.  I have left one message so far this morning.  I also am very worried about getting approval from Amerigroup...I hear nothing about them on here.
