10 days ago was my 8 month post-op and the things started getting slow.
I’ve stall for 6 weeks, +/- 2 lb. then drop of 10 lb. in less than a week and now stalling for the 3rd week again…. At least didn’t gain back any of the 10 lb.
FRUSTURATING!!!!!!!!!
The other thing, I really need to look what I’m eating but few weeks ago I started being hungry since the surgery.
It’s a strange feeling since I almost forgot what hunger means.
For some reason, I’m not doing too well with all the liquids in, but I think I’m okay.
On the positive side, I’m down almost 130 lb. and drop almost 10 sizes on the top and 6-8 on the bottom.
The jeans I got few weeks ago are loose again and I think I would probably fit in a one size smaller top by now, but still didn’t go and buy more clothes.
It’s a good thing then again is frustration because I don’t have too many clothes in this size.
I stopped take PPI over a month ago and don’t have any symptoms, not sure why I was kept on them for so long, in fact I’m off all medications except the blood thinner and vitamins.
In November I will be off blood thinner hopefully and will leave me w/o being on meds for the first time since I could remember!
Negative side, I did started crave more chocolate and carbs and this is not a good thing either, thanks god that I still can’t eat much and I learn how much I can hold down so no gaging for long time.
The other bad thing I should not do is drink pop but still I have some caffeine free diet coke now and then.
All the complications from the blood clots are gone now, last month the last piece, the filter they put in before the surgery, was taken out and that procedure went thru without any incident.
Overall, I think I m on track, wish the weight will go down faster, but I take it, the sleeve is doing the job for me.
Before, if I would be stalling for 6 weeks I would have drop the diet long time ago, so the beauty this time around is, even if my mind is thinking, I want to eat this, that and the other, the stomach can’t take it, so I’m safe J
Needed to see the surgeon next week but he needed to schedule and I will be going back in a month, hopefully will go down some more by then.
