Getting the hang of this.....

Well what a difference a week can make..... I have joined the gym and I have started going 3 x a week..... I have decided that if I want to jazz up my weight loss, I have got to move more..... my hubby is my biggest cheerleader and I love going to the gym with him... he is a runner, so this is old hat to him.... he loves the gym, but I have not had that relationship with it, but maybe it will happen..... as for this week, life is good and I wish I had done this years ago..... almost in the "220's"...... havent seen those numbers on my scale in about 25 yrs..... GOD is good...

Almost 8 weeks post-op.....

Well I am almost 8 weeks out now and still only down 23 lbs! Getting very discouraged about it, but some of the Vets on here tell me I doing fine...I guess and hope that maybe it will give my flabby skin some time to recover.. I have come this far and refuse to give up, so I will try to up my activity level... walked a mile already today at the high school track and going to the gym with my hubby tomorrow morning.... I shall persevere..... Hope everyone has a good weekend !!

Back to work....

Well I am finally back to work... wishing I was still on leave... still tired.... but feel ok. Not really liking anything I bring for my lunch and snacks, such a day to day thing with me... good thing I still love yogurt! Kind of stalled now, I am trying to not stress about that and follow the plan... down 20 lbs since surgery....

Almost 3 weeks postop...

Almost 3 weeks post op and I had my first cry and pitty party last night...... didnt feel like I had a good food day, stayed on the plan, but nothing seemed to settle right... felt kinda blah in the stomach all day..... I am down almost 18 lbs..... Tried on 2 pr of pants that I had bought when I got my job last year. They still had the tags on them, since I outgrew them before I even got a chance to wear them... they are size 22 and they swallowed me today !!! That takes the tears away for sure..... I will stay on my course for my new life and will get on the treadmill today..... I am also painting the living room... yes a little at a time, but I am in no hurry.... Thank you GOD for my new life....

WOW what a ride!! I am down 15 lbs in 2 weeks...... once I got the damned drain out, I have been on my way.... not near as hard as I had expected. I guess being on a liquid diet for almost a month makes these stages much easier.... cannot wait to see what my future holds...... so glad my husband is SOOOOO supportive and such an inspiration..... feeling very blessed to have the life I have. GOD is good.....
