Pre-Op Blues

Well here we are-8 days until my surgery date and I still haven't begun my 2 week pre-op diet. What is wrong with me? Why am I having such a hard time letting go of the foods I love and doing what I need to do before surgery? This is really scaring me. If I can't  do what I need to do now before surgery, how am I going to make the changes needed after surgery? Please help me! Did any of you have a hard time starting or following the pre-op diet plan?
