My first Thanksgiving free of gluttony!!!

I loved having Thanksgiving dinner with my sleeve!  It was the first time I can ever remember not overeating on Thanksgiving until I was almost sick.  I had just a spoonful of my favorite things & enjoyed it tremendously.  The amazing thing was the surprise at the end:  I actually enjoyed dessert!!  I never realized how uneventful dessert had become for me because I was so stuffed with food that it didn't even taste good.  Not this year!!  We had dessert about an hour or 1 1/2 hr. after dinner & it was delectable.  I had a tiny piece of pumpkin pie & a tiny piece of peanut butter pie, but wow how good they tasted.   "My new motto is savor the quality not the quanity"
