I was taking 4 perfect Iron 1-1000 Vitamin C, now they don't sell perfect Iron anymore. I have decided to try 2 Sundown Iron 65 mg ferrous Sulfate 1 -1000 Vitamin C. I have to have Iron labs done in 3 months. I have to try something that I can go buy in store and does not cost a fortune. I'm not sure if dosage is right, the Perfect Iron before was Carbonyl Iron says 50mg serving size 2, I took 4. Now I will be taking 2 Iron 65mg says service size tablet is 65mg. hope it works out.If you have any suggestions let me know, thanks.

That combination has worked well for me for years.

Thanks for the post. I've decided to switch my iron supplements and hope that they will raise my iron numbers a bit.

Be careful with ferrous sulfate, as it can constipate you. I was using carbonyl iron for years and discovered I wasn't absorbing them (green poop) and iron/ferritin labs dropping. I switched to Proferrin ES and labs have improved. It is expensive and the best price I've found is o their website using autoship.
