Surgery date set for July 24

My date has changed several times now because of my boss at work. But now it is settled and I flat out told her that I refuse to change the date again. I know that probably sounds rude but I don't mean to be at all. She has asked me to reschedule for legitimate reasons. But I was told that if I called to reschedule again then we would be looking at dates in September. :( 

Good for you for standing firm.  I don't know what your job is, but I bet it is not nearly as important as your life and health.  Congratulations on setting the date for your next step to health.

I am the case manager at a homeless shelter. I will be of no good to anyone if I am not healthy.

July 24th, 2014 sounds like a perfect date to start the first day of the rest of your life.  

I am scheduled for July 21st.....

I cannot wait to begin living again ...instead of merely existing.

Thank you all!!!!! I came back to my post to list a quick update. The office called and rescheduled me again for July 23. It's just 1 day's difference but better believe I am excited that it is 1 day dooner! hehe
