What one thing do you wish you'd known?

It may sounds silly, but I wished I had known how hard it would become to just drink enough water.  Before the surgery, I would drink at least 4 or 5 bottles of water and then drink water with all my meals.  I am not a coffee, tea or soft drink person.  Now, I have to remind myself to drink water.  This is still, after 9 weeks, very hard.

I stopped drinking soda about 5 years ago, but I do love my morning cup of tea. I'll have to find a good decaf tea, both for mornings and for iced tea. I do drink a lot of water -- seems strange to think it will be difficult to even drink water. Glad for the info from someone who's been there.

Thanks.

Joan
