It's amazing
I have been on blood pressure medication for years. My doc took me off of it in the hospital because it was a diuretic. After less than three weeks and only 33 lbs lost, my BP is normal, this morning was 105/61. I am shocked.
The diabetes found in the pre op workup, I can understand. He stopped my metformin 24 hrs before surgery and my sugar has been low normal.
He took me off my cholesterol med when I saw him last week. We will see how that goes when we do labs at 3 months. The BP still just amazes me though!!!
