Lemon Water... Your Thoughts?

I've heard both yes and no to drinking lemon water, but many days I feel it is the only way I can get my water in...that and it being either ice cold or tea kettle warm. I usually add 1 tbsp. of ReaLemon per 8 oz. glass.

What are your thouughts? Water with or without lemon? Do you think it has any benefits or possibly consequences?

Thanks for your opinion! :-)

Plus; Hydration and vitamin C and no calories or chemical sweetners.

Minus; The acid is hard on teeth enamel, long term. Rinse with plain water when you finish.

Personally I drink a ton of water and iced tea and hot tea with lemon -)

I have read good things about putting lemon in your water.

I say do whatever helps you get your fluid in without adding calories. Sounds like a better choice than the products with artificial sweeteners that many people rely on.

I think with something like this it really comes down to personal taste. Each morning I start with a warm cup of water and fresh lemon slices. Does it help or hurt? I don't know, I just know I like to start my morning that way and I am still standing LOL

I put sliced cucumbers in my water. I was able to get that down easier than lemon water. Just take little sips. Just remember your water is VERY important. Good luck!

I love lemon water and it has helped me get my fluids in during a few trying times.

My only suggestion is to try it with fresh lemons. No sugar or sweeteners, just pure fresh lemon juice and water. Tastes like heaven!

In the summertime I freeze it into ice cube trays so I can suck on those instead of popsicles.
