Bloody Stool (TMI)
Hello, sorry for the TMI but I am looking for some advice.
When I went to the washroom tonight there was a decent amount of blood in my stool. Everything that came out was pretty much red. I do not have any pains in my stomach, feel perfectly fine. I have not had any problems with constipation. I usually go once a day...today twice...I did notice a bit of blood earlier today but tonight it was a lot more.
Should I go to the doc or ER? Anyone have a similar situation?

I'm thinking this is a question to ask a medical professional and have them do an assessment via phone to direct you how long this can wait or if it can wait.

FYI When you phone telehealth... They will ask which hospital you are going to if they direct you to the ER and they will FAX the ER with the info they have so you litterally have it waiting, and sort of move at a better pace as they are expecting you.

The nurse will direct you to an emerg OR.. they will actually put you on hold and call the ambulance for you if THEY feel it's a life threatening emergency.
