Is it in your stool or with it or can you tell ?

I had hemorroids and they bled really bad when agitated (lack of fiber and straining).

I really wouldn't fool with it though, get thee self to the Dr !

Is it bright red? Then it's probably your new pal HEMORRHOIDS!

When they are higher up in the anal canal, they usually just bleed instead of cause you pain. If it's bright red it means it just came out. If it's darker it is from higher up in your intestines/bowel and you need to get that checked out ASAP.

I am currently in a fight to the death with my hemorrhoids and they started out innocently enough with just a bit of bright red blood.

Don't beets just make your urine pink

Fresh blood is from the bowels so not that urgent, unless in large volume. Only you can judge the volume.

I developed hemarrhoids post surgery!  They can be inside and not showing.

Digested (really stinky, black/green) blood from the upper abdomen is more worrisome.

If you feel ok (not pale, blood pressure ok, no real pain, not lightheaded, feel stable, eating / sleeping fine) call your doctor to see him/her.  Feel bad --> ER

Diverticulitis/Diverticulosis you could google too.
