I turned 30 this year and decided I'm done being fat! My loving hubby and I have had 4 children since 2004 (twins in August 2008) and that's it!  Anyway, I was so looking forward to losing the baby fat forever. I've been working out 4-6 times a week (plus weekly with a trainer), doing weight watchers, and NOT CHEATING. After 4 months of not seeing the scale budge, I went to an endocronologist who ran extensive bloodwork that showed I have a hormonal imbalance that's effecting my attempts at weight loss.
The good news? It's not my fault. The bad news? It will require extreme measures for me to lose weight. Well, YEAH. That's my life story. I've never been able to get off what I call the 15 'vanity pounds.' When I got pregnant, some initial weight fell off but I couldn't lose the fat- no matter how hard I tried. So I've made the decision (full support of hubby) to have the gastric sleeve. In order to be at a normal weight, I need to lose 60 pounds- that would put me at 160. But heck- if possible, I'd like to get to 145.
