smoking test in Winnipeg

I quit a year or more ago but im around second hand smoke. just wondering if they do urine cuz id be clear or saliva because I'd be clear n blood id be good.. but if its lung or hair I might have trace amounts... anyone experience these test before surgery? 

they had me do a urine test..i just did tgat yest.  i quit 3 weeks ago but hubby smokes and most of my family lol so i get second hand also.

i will know for sure wednes cuz of holiday but both surgeon n burse think it will be fine. they sugested 2 wks smoke free n to be safe i waited till 3. i will let you know wednes just as a fyi.

was this done in winnipeg?? prior to surgery? or what was the test for?

done in omaha ne.  it was to verify i quit smoking...yes it was prior to surgery and i will have to do another one day of to nake sure i didnt restart. hppe tgat helps...if urs is  urine test i wld thibj u wld be fine..i was after onky 3 weeks
