**6 Weeks Out & First Fill**
Apr 23, 2009
Today is offically 6 weeks from the date of my surgery and I am so happy that I did all this. I went to my surgeron's office yesterday for my first fill also. I never really thought about it when I decided on getting the realize band procedure I would be like yeahh it does adjust but didn't realize well Nicole they are going to have to put a big ass needle in your tummy to do so. Anyways it's not as bad as it looks. I laid down on the table and warned him I hate needles and don't tell me anything. He was laughing and said," OK well I am going to feel for your port, and then he said I am going to stretch the skin a little and then he said OK do you feel anything in your chest??" I was like "No, Why?" And he said cause I am putting the fluid in and want to know if you are feeling any pressure or anything? " I responded,"really I didnt' feel a thing!!" My surgeon gave me a 4cc fill. I have noticed a little bit of restriction and I dont' know if that is because my stomach is swollen or whatever but I am still on liquids for the next day or two. I also now have to drink my water by only sipping it cause downing the bottle ain't working for me I feel like I am going to puke if I drink too fast.
Today I joined a gym. I have been walking a few times a week but I knew it's for my best interest to really also have weight training to go along with it. I love this gym it has everything even a pool and I go with my friend who also got the procedure with me the same day. I got on the scale at the gym and it said 244... 244 sweet.. I am 20lbs down now from the highest weight I ever was before surgery and that's in only 6wks. I love it. She is doing great too at the doctor yesterday it said she has lost around 23 lbs. Well my next appointment is June 4th and I am scheduled for my second fill if I need it when I'm there. I'll keep you posted, everyone have a great Friday and an amazing weekend :)
