My name is Gail and I am hoping to have Roux-en-Y surgery in Michigan sometime in 2008. Waiting is hard when I am so pumped! I am 55 years old and have had struggles with my weight for 22 years. No matter what I do I seem to just keep gaining weight and am ashamed that I can't get back to "normal." I am confident that WLS is the answer that I have been seeking and that it will be great!
