The feeling is awesome! Some people don't even recognize me when they see me!  Don't believe the stereotype that wls is the easy way out, by no means has it been an easy ride for me. But it's the best choice I have made for myself HOLLA!!!!!!

It has been fun for me to get on the scale now, I used to dread it. But when I continue to see the weight shed off, I get soooo excited.

I am finally on the road to better health!! It hasn't hit me yet, that I will be getting major surgery done soon. But  I ready for the challenge. I have lost 13 pounds since July and will continue to loose to shrink my liver so my surgery will be easier.

I am currently finishing the bariatric program at GBMC, I have lost ten pounds and counting!! I have decided to get the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. Stay tuned.....more to come!!

I know one dang thing for sure, if I gain another pound during the 6 month diet shiggidy, I am going to flip!!!!!  I have just one more month to go and I will have completed that requirement.

I HAVE DECIDED TO OPT FOR THE DUODENAL SWITCH INSTEAD OF THE RNY. I HAVE DONE ALOT OF RESEARCH ON BOTH. I WOULD HAVE A GREATER CHANCE OF WEIGHTLOSS WITH THE DS INSTEAD OF THE RNY CUZ THIS CHICK HERE HAS A LOT TO LOOSE! CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I am currently trying to get all the pre-ops done and fullfuling the requirement to get the RNY surgery covered (6 month supervised diet). I attended an information session regarding bariatric surgery. It was very informing, my only fear is being put to sleep. I never had any kind of procedure done before. But I will be ready when I get it done Feb. 09
