hello everyone i should be getting ready to do my last preop visit and the wonderful bowel prep but i'm not here i sit getting ready to ell the good news bad news take it how ever you want. i got a call yesterday morning from my bariatric center all surgeries were canceled and i am sure you are saying the same thing i was WHAT???? i could not get a reason from anyone the center the dr the hospital NO ONE until i called my mother and she did some digging and found out that...........hmmlets just say his patients were not coming thru surgery in too good a shape. so after i screamed, cried, yelled, and talked to a few people i got right back up got on the computer and found another dr in a neighboring city to go to i will not be able to have the ds i now have to choose between gastric bypass and the band. so here we go again research, research, research. i should own stock in googloe lol

Today i am waiting to start my 2 week pre-op liquid diet. It will start this Friday I can't wait LOL. i am trying to get things together to go to surgery llike things i am going to need. With four kids and four animals this is a little more confusing than one might expect it to be. i am excited and anxious at the same time i want to have fun with my kids but, what if something goes wrong? i can finally get clothes where i want to, but what if i can't get out of the house at all due to complications of surgery? anyway if you have been thru surgery you know what i am going thru but i believe God has a hand in everything and it will go the way he wants it to. and i pray to him everytime that he will bring me and my family thru this okay and that way i can be more involved in his work.
