I was relatively thin as a child until I reached teenage years. Once I turned 14 years of age, I was put on psychotropic medications as I needed them. The first year of being on them I gained 100 pounds, and from there it went downhill. I always thought (stupidly), "Oh, I am young, I have all these years that I can worry about losing this weight as I grow older." Was I ever wrong!!! I just turned 30 years old, and now have diseases that most people do not get until they are in their 60's and older. Now that I have damaged my body for 15 years, I need to get serious about my health if I want to live past 40 -50. So if anyone has any positive advice, or experiences that they would like to share with me, I would greatly appreciate any and all of it! Your experiences and advice will only help me out positively on my long journey back to health!!
