A few thoughts...

Apr 28, 2009

I'm almost 2 months out. I won't discuss my weight loss yet, as I promised myself I would only do that once a month. Ok so here are some things that are on my mind.
I hate my arms. They're fat and they always have been. I look like a football player. I hope to God they shrink some.
I really wish they would tell you that your period will be irregular and messy and downright disgusting. I haven't had mine since surgery so it's been almost 2 months. I got it this week and OMG gross is all I'm going to say. I hear it's common to have issues with your cycle after surgery, but still, this sucks.
I'm enjoying fitting into some clothes I haven't worn in a while. It's nice.
I actually wore 3 inch heels and danced in them for 3 hours without hurting!! I haven't worn high heels like that in a loooooooong time.
My skin is better, at least to me it is.
I have more energy and more "get up and go".
I'm adjusting better to certain foods. I chopped up tomato and put it in my chicken salad. I actually ate it and it stayed down. That was good.
I had sugar free ice cream last night on a cone. Yum.
Still won't touch salad yet, it scares me.
Everyone keeps asking me how I feel. I don't quite know how to answer that yet.  I mean I have good days and I have bad days. The good news is, the good is outweighing the bad.
That's all for now!
