"Dr Chapman is a great Surgeon. He is very knowledgeable in his field. His office staff has grown due to his growing clientele and it seemed to me that the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing most of the time.
Due to his growing caseload, he's a very busy man and I had been warned that I needed to make a list of questions when I thought of them because he is in and out in a flash for the office visits...man, were they spot on with that assessment.
He said time and time again: "If you do everything I tell you to do, you will succeed"
He also told me of the risks of this surgery and how they compared to other surgeries.
I saw him briefly about an hour before surgery and not again until my follow up apt 2 1/2 weeks later, but the staff was great at answering my questions of diet and medications after the surgery when I called.
I would recommend him to others but just warn them to be their own advocate...his nutritionist and psych professionals (and I use that term extremely loosely) leave oh so much to be desired."
