I have to admit, being on the PB diet, and Halloween here, I DID GREAT!! I had only 5 pieces of candy! AND we walked for an hour and a half, taking the kids uptown to TOT at the business, and last night walked for over 3 hours taking the youngest TOT around town, and then I went to haunted houses with a great friend! OMG I screamed and laughed so hard! I jumped so many times! LOL But, I kept the profanity down to a minimum! ha ha ha ha ha

I am really thinking about staying on the PB diet......I ate carbs, and was immediately sickened! Flushed, face HOT, felt really run down! I am going to try to make some sort of a diet plan with very low carbs and high protein! 

I'm down almost 5 pounds since starting this on Wedensday! Can I tell you how delicious the food is! I am still having a very hard time getting the whole 3 oz in, but I give it some time, and it all works out! I can live without all those nasty carbs!!! (but my chocolate craving will NEVER die!) For lunch today I had tuna, with 2 tbsp of Ranch, 1tsp of mustard, and garlic....spread on my plate, topped with cheese...warmed up! voila! A tuna melt! YUMMY! 

Today is going GREAT!! I am having a bit of a struggle getting 3 oz in 5 times a day! I am really restricted! My surgeon said it could definitely be my inflammatory disease I have, making things a bit swollen, so I am taking it easy with the chicken, and beef just scares the crap outta me!!!

also, I wanted to put a notice in, that I do swear, and if my swearing in the blogs bothers anyone, I apologize! I tend to get a little hot headed, especially when I am fighting this battle. LOL

Yep, and that is exactly what I am going to do! WHIP IT GOOD! I HAVE to do this for my health, family, friends and just plain do it to be healthy! 

Greg lost his job Sept 27, and we are without health insurance. Well, we called to get quotes on private insurance, and I cannot find anyone to cover me because of my height/weight combo! Well hot damn! I am gonna fight this! It pissed me off so bad, but on the reality side, it opened my eyes, that I am obese and a liability! I've got a long life ahead of me, and I'm gonna live it! 

I am on day 2 of the plateau buster diet, and I will admit, last night without my carb addictions in front of me, I had the shakes, palpitations, and really edgy! I am addicted to carbs! Just like my parents were alcoholics, I am a carb-aholic, and damnit, It is NOT going to over take me! I have always been so scared of addition, so scared to go on the pain meds for my fibro, severe arthritis, my Raynaud's, but I had to, and If I can fight being addicted to those, and learn my triggers, I can learn my triggers for this too! HAH! put that in your pipe and smoke it, carbs! HAH! (flips the bird to the carbs) haha sorry, I am SO EXCITED!!! 

One thing that is so annoying, is getting up in the middle of the night to pee, because I drank too much water, because the F-ing carbs bloated me, and I was trying to flush them! Well, Without the massive carbs yesterday, I was up most of the night, up and down, peeing like crazy! I am THIN this morning! and I can actually get my wedding ring off! I had it sized smaller this summer, when I was losing inches, and I was scared to lose my ring! But hot damn! It slides off now! woot! 

i will add more later, but I am excited to get off my ass, and whoop these carbs, and show them who's boss! heh

I took my before pictures, curled my hair, and here I sit until until we leave. My surgery time was moved to 12:30. I have to be there about 11:15, but I am going at 11. ! LOL LOL 

I am not sure of my before weight, as I do not have a working scale, (yet!) But I was at 267, then 263. I am all prepared food, and supply wise, just need to get this done with! 

ok, Yeah, I am a little disappointed, but what can I do? lol I gotta work around the surgeon's availability or its a no go lol

But, it is May 12, bright and early. oh well, more time to get prepared!!!!!

I had my appt with the surgeon today, and he is putting me on lovenox before surgery, but my surgery is May 9th! They are calling me back with a time! yay!!!!!! this is awesome! so excited!

Well, My sister had her surgery today! She did great, and I am so proud of her!!!!! She is amazing, and has such a great outlook on this journey we share. I hope all goes great for her!!!!

Hi everyone! I went ahead and saw the Hematologist today, and I will be treated with some Lovenox after surgery, in addition to the leg hugger machine, and ted hose, to prevent any DVTs. 

I have a blood clotting disorder, that primarily affects me during pregnancy, as my daughter was stillborn due to clots in the placenta. My two other pregnancies were pretty uneventful, besides taking blood thinners during the pregnancies, and still had some clots in the placentas. weird.
