I've been heavy my entire life.  From day 1.  In high school though I was more average I guess.  After high school is when my weight started to get out of control.  When I was 9 I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and had to take a medication called Prednisone.  A steroid that made my face really round and made me feel like I was starving all the time.  It didn't start really effecting me until my senior year of high school.  When I was 20 though, my large intestine was removed.  I lost a lot of weight then because I had to have a colostomy bag.  I was really thin for 3 months until the bag was removed.  Then I started gaining all the weight back.  Ever since then my weight has been going up and up and up.  At this moment, I'm at the highest weight I've EVER been at....295.  It effects my everyday life.  I have 3 kids, 2 of which live with.  The other lives with his dad, my ex husband, in another state.  He is 8 years old.  My other 2 are girls, ages 3 years and 8.5 months.  I can't play with them.  Just changing the baby's diaper tires me out.  I can't pick up after them without my back killing me.  I get out of breath so easy.  I've tried diets.  Finally it was time to take that "last resort".  We are military and have health insurance called Tricare.  Tricare covers Gastric Bypass surgery, you just have to get a referral from a doctor on base.  Which I did.  Anyway, there's my story..
