"Dr. Slotman was very nice during the consultation. He put me right at ease and answered any questions i might have had. I had my mom with me and she was nervous for me, and he even joked that she had to be my sister and not my mom because of how young she looked. It made my moms day i think.. :-) Shirley, his intake secretary was nice. She seemed frazzled from a long day of work, but she knew her stuff. She was very helpful. The only thing i didnt like was that i had to watch the informational video in the waiting area in front of a bunch of people. I was put off by it, but i got over it. Hey i should be proud to let everyone know that i made a decision to better my life. I heard mention that Slotman didnt offer an after care program, but thats not true. He does. He even gives you info on the pre-op and post -op support group meetings that are offered, FOR FREE. Also, you do have to pay 20$ for the 1 initial nutritionist consult, but she mentioned that we can call her anytime if we have any questions. So that was nice. As far as addressing the risks, he does, at length. in the video and then again in the actual consult. I would rate him a 9. (from consult alone.) "
