on first impression of him he is a very quiet sort of man. very knowledgable and thorough.
He doesn't seem to laugh much, but I did get him to chuckle a couple of times! As I also work in the surgical area, I can relate a bit with the personalities of the surgeons, we are all a bit strange in one way or another LOL.
His office staff try to be nice, they just need to work on more customer relations better. Sue his PA and assistant is Wondeful! Keeps him in line.
If you are looking for a feel good, pat you on the back kind of Dr with super bedside manners,he is not that. He is however very nice, pleasent, but most of all his surgical competence is great.! That is the most important part, SKILLED in his line of work, especially revisions.
There is a structured aftercare program, Now some does pertain to DS, there for a while it still had too much leaning to RNY. They have now revamped and have a separate program for DS patients.
I am most pleased I chose Dr. Stewart, have been well cared for and feel he did a great job, removing my band was rough, as it had formed a calcium seal on the suture lines on the sternum, but it is SUCH a relief to have that gone!.. Now I can begin to live a normal life again!!"
