I KNOW I HAVE BEEN MISSING IN ACTION FOR QUITE SOMETIME BUT I HAD TO HANDLE SOME MUCH NEEDED BUSINESS WITH FAMILY. I HOPE ALL IS HAVING A SUCCESSFUL TIME ON THEIR PERSONAL WEIGHT LOSS GOALS. I HAVE BEEN IN A STALL FOR LIKE MONTH OR SO AND I MUST SAY THAT IT IS WEIGHING HEAVILY ON MY FEELINGS BUT I REFUSE TO ALLOW THIS TO DETER ME FROM MY VISION OF A HEALTHIER AND MORE HAPPIER ME/I AM CURRENTLY WEIGHING AT 303LBS (YAY FOR ME) AND I AM 7MONTHS OUT (WITH A TOTAL OF 88LBS (02-01-12) AND A LOST OF 110LBS (03-2010 -03/2012) W/O THE USE OF ANY DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS. NOW IT IS TIME TO GET THE ADDITIONAL 168LBS OFF OF ME WITH THE SUPPORT OF THIS PAGE, FRIENDS, AND FAMILY.

Five Months Post-Op (Gastric Bypass)

Today marks my 5mos post-op of the RNY WLSurgery (Gastric Bypass) and feeling wonderful...but this is wea my real test faith lies right now n matter how long or how hard this jurney may get i am more than fully and whole heartedly ready for the challenges, obstacles, and everything else that comes along with it..#Smiling_on_the_Nside

I am 4 months out down 66lbs and feel very frustrated b/c i am also 6 months out and is not wea my expectations of my estimated weight loss of close to near a 100lbs..i am baffled b/c i dnt know wat i could be doing wrung..if u have any suggestions/advice anything to get this weight loss back up and running plz feel free to leave it all advice is healpful no matter....#JustSick&Tired

Limitations are a double dose of poison, because they don’t just limit me. They limit God’s ability to help me as well. I am saying that God obviously can’t help me with a particular problem, because if He could, I wouldn’t have adopted that limitation. Adopting limitations is like putting handcuffs on God.
God gave me unlimited potential for excellence. I have the privilege of being one of his children, and He has a plan for my life that is better than anything I can imagine. I need to have a talk with God and find out about his plan. Limitations are not a part of that plan. Even if I have adopted limitations that seem to be written in stone, that is not a problem for God. His love can easily break them up and set me free. Remember, there is no limit to how good my life can become when I open my heart and mind to the power of God’s love. I must max out on God’s love and make my limitations disappear.

One Stop Center Visit Jan 20-11

Happy Holidays to All!!!
Today was a very interesting day!! Today was one of these days wen it seems like any/everything couldnt have went any slower. I arrived @ Atlanta Medical Center @ 0945am on the 7th flr (east wing)..Wen i first got there none of the Physicians had arrived just yet...mind you that my 1st visit with the Psyche Doctor ( Dr. Yates)was @ 10am whom did not arrived until bout 1010 then after she got there I was waiting another 10mins. Once we enter into the Sleep Room she began to start writing/ asking me ? mind u that this was about 10mins into the discussion with i brought up that i was on Medicaid (PeachState HealthPlan)
not once once mind you that she never stated that she dont take Medicaid (for future wls patient)..sad to say that i was not able to get my Psyche Evaluation done (oh well) on to the next dr visit; 2nd visit @ 1130 i had a dr visit with Dr.Buda (Sleep Study...very pleasant gentleman) we had a slight discussion to about my sleep histiry to see if or if not i am Sleep Apena (which i am), he began to do a lil evaluation wea he began to look at my Airway (which btw is very narrow)..so afta the discussion he sent me to Eric (AMC) to schedule me a overnight stay for a Sleep Study ( schedule for 20/January/2011 (Thursday) @ 8pm) and a retrn dr visit with Dr.Buda on 27/January/2011 (Thursday @ 345pm); 3rd visit of the day @ 1215 was with Dr Byrd (Cardiologist..again a very pleasant guy) wen i first arrived to his office the staff was at lunch (all i can think was why me) but once they got there all the ball was in full force..I was greeted by Michele (i think..sorry) she began my EKG once she was finished with that she sent me back ot into the waiting room wea i began to wait about 10-15 mins..right after i was called into the exam room by Dr. Byrd wea he began to ask me personal but very relative ? pertaining to the surgery..after about 10mins of talking he stepped out the room and approx 25mins later he called me in the xray room wea he began to take piks of my chest ( which again btw is wonderful..yay for me); and now i am on to my final/last visit of the day the Pulumonary @ 2pm but i didnt arrive until 210 due to running behind began back with Eric (AMC)..but anyway!! I reported to Admissions on the grund flr of Atlanta Medical Center (entering frm the front) once i arrived there I was greeted by the recpt. who then turned ,me over to Ms Marlene Heath( Patient Registration)..afta bout 15mins with her..she began to take me Dr. Brooks ( Pulumonary) wea i was being tested in Breathing ( wow..wat a activity)..he began to run a series of Breathing test on me ( which i am grt)..afta all of the visit i am kinda of bummed that i couldnt get the psyche test done..but i still have like to moreSupervised Diet Visit (with Karen Burke)..so i will have it done before then!!but over all and all it brings me closer and closer to the prize...
On 05/January/2011 @ 1645pm..I recvd a fone call frm Eric (Atlanta Medical Center..1Stop Center)..He called to inform me of my schedule Doctor visits for the Psyche Elevaluation, Sleep Study, Cardiologist, and the Pulumonary. I am so ready..cant even (hardly is not and option) wait.

Third Month...on Supervised Diet Dec 20-10

I went to visit my Dietitian (KAREN BURKE), we began to discuss my progress on the Supervised Diet. She stated that she was impressed with my Progress/Determination to press foward even if it do get alittle difficult which she can imagine it does..and trust me it does but this is the price i have to pay to get Healthy..Let the pain began!
