The beginning of the end!

I took the first step to achieving better health today..... I scheduled an appointment for a consultation for WLS. I researched a local doctor who is also listed on this website, and have decided to pick him as my WLS surgeon. Surprisinlgy I do not feel scared, but however I am reluctant to talk to my loved ones about my decision, especially my boyfriend of almost 9 years who is also struggling with his weight. He is very against this form of surgery and will be dissapointed to say the least. I am worried that he will be very pessimistic about my choice and make me second guess myself. I just keep reminding myself that I have to live my life for me as well as my 10 month old daughter Toni. Who I am doing this for. I want to be able to see her graduate college, get married and much more. Say a pray for me ad I start my journey. I titled this blog entry as the beginning of the end because I truley believe this is the first step to beginning the loosing battle I have been fighting with obesity! Healthy living here I come!
