OK I am down 16 pounds since surgery Yeaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . My visit went great today my doctor said that everything look fine. Also I go back to work on Thursday of this week. I must say that I am ready. Also my doctor explained that they will not fill my band for another 4 weeks.. I was told that this is the healing process and that I should follow the Pre-OP diet until Iam completely healed. I was not aware of this it seems that it would be hard but I have done great so far. Does anyone understand this process and is it normal to wait six weeks after surgery before you receive your first fill? I guess I am a little nervous. Anyway I was also told that I can start walking at least a mile a day. So that's going help the weight loss as well. Anyway just wanted to check in.

Hello OH family. It has been 24 hours since surgery and I feel great. I really thought that it would be more pain but no. I am really sore but not a lot of gas or pain. I really had a good team at the hospital. Everyone was great and knowledgeable. They made me feel safe from the first moment. I have not felt any nausea and have not thrown up Thank God.. Any way I am  so happy to be on the losers bench now.Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy to say that tomorrow is my day. I am scheduled to have surgery at 12:30pm. I must say that I first give praise to God .Because he knows how long I have prayed for this day. I feel like this is a gift. I have promised him that I will do the best that I can about following the Lap Band program to the fullest. Because so many people would like to have this surgery I must tell him thank you. Next , I am glad to say that my family has been and continues to be so supportive with this process. I have only told my closest  friends. Not up to explaining the whens and why..lol. Anyway thank you for all your prayers.. I will post as soon as I am up to it. Take Care for now .

Oh my GOD I cant believe its one week to go. I am not nervous any more. Its so hard to concentrate at work.  I feel great drinking my protein and eating two high protein meals. I want to make sure I do my part.

My great hope is to laugh as much as I cry; to get my work done and try to love somebody and have the courage to accept the love in return.

Hello OH family , I have my date and I am more excited than scared at this point .Its something how you wait and pray for something for so long and when it gets here you don't know rather to cry or laugh ...or both LOL ..Wednesday Feb 10, 2010 is my date. YEAAAAAAAAAA. I am so ready.

WOW !!!!! Monday Feb 1 I have an appointment with my doctor . He is going to tell if I will be going to the Surgery Center to have my Lap Band done or at the hospital. I hoping for the hospital. Something to do with BMI and where my weight is. I will let you all know my update on Monday.
