"Dr. Roslin saved my life, twice! When I went in for my DS, I had been on injectables and pills for over three years for severe psoriasis. What was going on outside, I suspect, also meant I was a mess inside. After surgery on March 26th, I was not doing well, and they had to open me up on the 28th to find that I had 2 liters of blood around my discolored liver. I suspect the weakened state of my immune system was the culprit. Dr. Roslin performed the open DS from 12:30 am-3:30 am. A few days in the ICU, and recovery time at home, and I'm feeling great! More amazingly, one month later, most of the psoriasis has disappeared. Thank the gods that I had a great surgeon!
If you are looking for someone who will sweet talk you, Dr. Roslin is definitely not your person. If you want someone who will be straightforward, frank, and honest, Dr. Roslin is your guy!
Also, a shout out to the rest of the staff at Lenox Hill Bariatrics - the office staff works very hard, the nurses are great, and Sharon, the dietician, is excellent. There is a monthly support group which is an invaluable part of learning how to use your new tool, the DS, to lose weight. If you stick with Dr. Roslin, you will be in good hands!"
