I know its been a while since I've posted but life has been busy and fun!! I am now 5months out and I've lost 77lbs. NO MEDS since Oct 1, 2007!! Praise the Lord!


I went from a size 11 in shoes to a size 9...YAY!!!! I started in a size 26/28 clothes and I'm now into a 16/18 - 18/20!! I feeelllll AMAZING!!!

God has truly blessed me through this whole thing. I am very thankful for the family and friends that have supported me all the way!! 

So I'm now 3months and 5days out and I've lost 51lbs which is 31% of my body fat. WHOOT WHOOT!! 

Still NO NO NO NO Meds since Oct 1st....YAY!! 
Primary Doctor says that by Feb I will probably not be classified as a Diabetic!! YAY!! 

God is Good and Be Blessed!!

I'm doing wonderful and feeling great...lookin good....and lovin myself more and more each day!

Well, what can I say I'm almost 7weeks out and this journey has been interesting. I feel that I am doing really good. No Diabetic, HBP, High Cholesterol MEDS since Oct 1st. How exciting is jus that part? Then the icing on the cake is 36lbs gone in 6weeks. Whoop whoop!!

Hey peeps....Just wanted to update on my progress and update some pictures...Hope all is well! 

God is blessing me daily!! I'm so excited everyday about my journey!! Whoop whoop!!

As of 14days out I'm 22lbs down and haven't had to take my diabetic or HBP meds in SEVEN DAYS!!! yay!!!

Hello Peeps!

First I would like to thank everyone who prayed for me during my surgery. Everything went wonderfully. I was home by 5pm on Thursday (day after surgery). I am a little sore but other than that...doing great. 

My G-tube is getting on my nerves but hey, its a lifesaver, especially when I don't want to drink by mouth.  And I just keep telling myself....only 6weeks with it. THose 6weeks, I pray, will fly by. And then once 8weeks is over I'll be a lifetimer....YAYAYAYAY!!!

So, thanks again for your thoughts and prayers...I'm doing really good. Walking, excerises, sitting up, getting up on my own, showering and just feeling better with each passing day!

Everyone I am getting so anixous!! I'm ready for the journey to begin!! 

I have already claimed it in the Lord and I know that I'm going to do great. 

So remember me in your prayer tomorrow....Surgery is at 4pm tomorrow. I'll be home from the hospital on Thursday - late afternoon.

Ok...so my surgery is in THREE DAYS!! Yay!! Anywho, I am getting a lil nervous. I mean come on its alot of changing. I'm ready though. 

I gave it to God and I've claimed it in Him and I'm gonna do GREAT!! 

Just please remember me in your prayers...

Ok...So in 12days I am going under the knife and my life will be changed forever. I can't wait!! I have met some fabulous friends on this site and I'm thankful for their love and support. Yall I just can't wait. I'm 22yrs old and about to start my life...for the first time in a long time. 

My short term long is to be in an 18/20 by the time my husband comes home for R&R in Nov. I'm in a 24/26 now.

My long term goal is to be a 12/14 and maintain a weight of 160-170. I know I can do it. I also want to start a family when Matt returns home from Iraq in August-Sept 2008. 

YIPPPPPEEEEEE!!! MY WLS IS IN 12 DAYS!!! YIPPPEEE!!! I can't wait! 

I know there are some things like cravings that I will struggle with but just knowing that I won't have to take pills for Diabetes, HBP and High Cholesterol will be worth it in the long run!! 

Contunie to pray for me and my husband...as I start this journey to a new me and while he is in Iraq.

Ok....so in 23 days (but whose counting) I will be having the gastric bypass surgery! I can't wait..I'm super excited for the life changing experience I'm about to embark on. Pray for me...I want this more than anything. I'll be 8-9 weeks out when my husband comes for for R&R!! I can't wait to be more confident for my husband. I'll keep posting as my journey continues!!
