it was a long road but well worth it. i finally hit goal and feeling great!!!

woo hoo, just scheduled my surgery date after a long and agonizing postponal a month ago. new date january 14th... so nervous. start liquid diet friday. not looking forward to it but it will be worth it in the longrun

well. this wednesday will be 2 week that i put myself on a low cholesterol diet and my md started me on cholesterol meds to bring my triglycerides down to a normal level so we can proceed with the surgery. i ordered home tests for triglycerides just waiting for them to come in. i know they may not be spot on like a blood work would but it gives me an idea where i am at. i should get it wed or thurs. if it shows i am down around where he wants me to be i am calling him and going to ask if i can go for my bloodwork now instead of 2 more weeks. cross your fingers for me.
