"I found Dr. Hunter to be very personable and easy to talk to and I really liked his sense of humor. Just prior to me getting the happy juice in my IV, he stopped by to be sure I was doing ok and was ready for this. There wasn't anything I didn't like about him and I had complete faith in him, so I was totally calm and relaxed about the surgery. rnrnHe was assisted in surgery by Dr. Andrea Wagner and she was amazing and very caring, too. She came by and checked on me at least 3-4 times after my surgery before I was released the next day and listened to all my questions and my sister's questions. She was awesome!rnrnHis PA and office staff are great. They have positive, cheery attitudes and they responded to my questions with easy to understand answers.rnrnHe strictly emphasized after care, proper nutrition and calling for any reason or with any questions. He wanted me to know he and his staff were there for me no matter what or when. He repeatedly told me this during our visit.rnrnBoth Dr. Hunter and his PA, Kat Redmon, clearly emphasized the risks of the surgery numerous times to me and went over the surgery diagram with me to be sure I knew what was going to happen in the OR, as well as how my life would change forever after the surgery. rnrnI would give Dr. Hunter a huge 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. He was awesome and I never felt like I wasn't in the best of hands. I could tell he genuinely cares about his patients. I would do the surgery over again in a heartbeat, as long as he was there by my side to be my surgeon.rn"
"They were very generous in making sure I got a private room so my sister could stay with me. Negatives were that they didn't have large enough pressure stockings for my size (they only had up to XL and they said I needed 2XL) and the bathrooms in the rooms had handicap bars on both sides of the toilet that were so close together that it was impossible to sit fully on the toilet. I even asked my size 10 sister to try it out and see if it was just because of my size and she said it was very tight for her to sit on it."
