A Lifetime of Weightloss

October 2, 2007

It's been two months now since I've been banded and the weight loss has been slow.  It seems after the first 17 pounds I just keep losing the same three pounds over and over.

I do have to remember that before I went to my first seminar I had started dieting and had lost 18 pounds on my own.  That is a total of 35 pounds that I haven't gained back!

I had my second fill two weeks ago and it seems to have really kicked in this week.  I'm also going to Curves 3 times a week now, although my doctor thinks that's not enough exercise.  However, with my medical problems it's all I can manage without going into CFS meltdown.

Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia have really taken over my life in the last three years but I'm hoping losing weight will help me fight them.  I have gone from walking with crutches to a cane and now only use the cane during crashes.  Of course I have an arsenal of meds that help too!

I guess I'm a little depressed about not losing more weight in the last two weeks.  I'm doing my fitday.com every day and my calories are right on the mark.  I need to increase my liquid on some days, it's not perfect yet, but I'm getting there.

I do have faith that this will work for me.  The weight loss may be slow but it will happen.  Oh, I have to remember that my meds make it slower!  I keep forgetting that and need to remember and not beat myself up so much.

I'm going on vacation and will be back on October 16.  Hopefully I will have a good report since I plan to be working the system while I'm gone.
