"My first impression of Dr. Schoen was that he was much younger than I thought he would be. He immediately expressed his concern for the weight that I had gained and also a terrible cough that I was having since my inital visit. All he really did was tell me to start a liquid diet and see a specialist about the cough. I was disappointed when he told me that he had to reshedule me but, if it's for my safety then I am glad that he did. He also asked if I had any ?'s but I had already asked everything to the two other surgeons that I had met prior to meeting him and they answer them all thoroghly. I just wish that he had examined me or something (Dr. Rothchild did examin me). I guess he'll do that the day of surgery. The office stafff was pretty average and the front desk clerks were neutral. He has done over 100 surgeries, one of which was a good friend of mine and she had no complications and feels better than ever. I feel good knowing that there will be him and two other surgeons working on me (three heads are better than one).rnrnI don't have any complaints except the fact that he mentioned he didn't think I could loose the full 20 lb.'s by the surgery date which was a bit offensive. I plan to prove to him that I can do that and some and wait for the reaction."
