I have wanted this surgery for as long as I can remember, & now as it's becoming a reality I'm feeling unprepared or like it's not  sinking in. I'm not sure what to make of these feelings.I've been very guarded with this decision that I've made only telling a select few , so I dont know if that's playing a role in the way I'm feeling by being secretive about my surgery. I'm private in my personal life so I don't feel that it's anyone's business. Dose anyone else feel unprepared as their surgery date approaches? 

I've been going to my scheduled appointments &my last one is 10/10/14 but it still has not sunk in. I've wanted this surgery for as long as I can remember, but it just seems like I haven't educated myself enough on this whole process. Does anyone else feel this way
