Yesterday I received a call from my surgeon's office, asking if I wanted to move it up from Wednesday to Monday.  Two less days on my pre-op liquid diet, you bet I will!  So now I only have two days left....

Exactly one week from today I will be having my surgery.  My surgeon requires 2 weeks of a pre-op liquid diet, to shrink the liver.  I am through one week of it, and it is the worst thing I could possibly imagine.  I knew it would be rough, but I had no idea it would be this bad.  Quitting smoking was a breeze compared to this.  This liquid diet is definitely testing my faith in myself as to whether I can even do this.  I ask myself repeatedly if it is even worth all of this misery.  I try to keep reminding myself that this is only temporary, but the ending results will be much longer lasting and fulfilling
