I have been obese most of my life. I am tired of wearing the fat suit and am ready to do something about it. As a woman in my 30's, I want to bring out my sexy!! I am the largest one in my family. I have thyroid issues, gerd, and asthma. I have a 2 year old daughter and husband.
I have been lurking through this site for the past 8 months. People have been really supportive to one another. I am hoping to find a lot of friends on this site. It is really nice to know that I am not alone fighting obesity.
For the most part my best friend is supportive because she knows that I have been through a lot complaining and crying about my weight. We have known each other since the 5th grade. She has always been around a size 6. I am greatful to have a good friend who understands me. I told her to pull out a pair of jeans and a top out of her closet...watch out now!
As far as the rest of my family, they are pretty much blah about the surgery. But, I have to do this for me and my daughter. So I am excited about my RNY-laproscopic surgery, June 24, 2008. I am ready to get into a decent size and be more productive.
