"Everything went of very well for the most part. My only real complaints are the horrible pain management (or lack there of) that I received. I was in tremendous pain and complained frequently that the pain meds were not working. I was completely blown off by the nurses. I also had one really bad nurse, but the rest of my nurses were angels. "
"I found Dr. Patterson to be a very to-the-point kind of doctor. She wasn't over the top with kindness, however she wasn't arrogant or distant either. My impression of her changed slightly over time in that she seemed to take more of an effort to put me at ease on the day of the surgery. She also seemed happy for me during my post-op visit when I told her that my recovery was going well.
For the most part she left the aftercare portion to the other staff nurses/dietitians. She was thorough in explaining the risks of surgery and made sure that I understood them."
