9 months and 3 days post op, I am down 124lbs! This has been a wonderful journey for me this far! I haven't had any complications or any bad reactions from food. Everyone around me has been so supportive and encouraging. I started in a size 24 in dresses and just yesterday bought a dress that's a size 8/10 and it fit perfectly. I will put up recent pics real soon! I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!

Today makes 4 months since I've had my surgery! It's been wonderful! I'm down 76lbs and I feel sooooo gooood inside and out! I get compliments daily especially at work! Everything is still going great...still no nausea or vomiting! Well 24 more pounds to go til I reach my 100lb lost goal!!

Today is my 3 month surgiversary!! I am down 63lbs and it feels good! I unfortunately have not been to the gym in 3wks because my potassium was so low. But it's back to normal now so back to the gym I go! Other than my potassium dropping everything has gone well!

I stepped on the scale this morning and I am now 50lbs down! It's only been 2mos and 4 days! All I can say is WOW! I almost cried tears of joy! It just seems like everything is finally coming together for me! I pray that things will continue to go the positive way! I feel wonderful!

Today marks 2 months since my surgery! I have lost 44lbs so far and I am feeling wonderful! I stilll haven't had any nausea or vomiting and I thank God for that! This is the best decision I've ever made for myself! I'm looking forward to continue on this journey!

Well I'm a month and 2 days out! So far I've lost 27lbs and I can see a bit of a difference! I'm now in my "fork tender" stage. I'm so glad to be off of pureed foods...it started to get a lil blah! So far I haven't had any nausea or vomiting and I thank God for that!! I went back to work on the 19th and everybody said they can see a big difference....that made me feel wonderful!

Yesterday I had my 2wk post-op appt! The Dr. said everything was fine! I started my on my pureed foods yesterday. I  was kind of hesitant about eating the food after it was pureed but it actually tasted good. The thing that I'm going have to get used to is waiting 30min after I eat to drink. I find myself watching the clock...LOL!  I started excercising more. Well I'm praying that my journey continues to go well. I weighed in at 307 yesterday.

I had my surgery on Monday 3-21-11!  I came home from the hospital yesterday which was the 23rd! So far everything has been good! I had some gas trouble on day 2 and got the ok from the Dr. to take some Gas X chewables! Pain medicine has been my new best friend...LOL! i'm trying to stay positive so that my recovery will be successful and I have WONDERFUL family and friends to help me make it through! Well..I'll keep posting as time goes on! Hours before surgery I weighed in at 327lbs,.

Tomorrow is the BIG day!! I'm so excited!

Well only about 2 more weeks until my surgery! I'm getting a little nervous but I'm VERY excited!
